Columbia Gas Fuel Fund & Crisis Fund Program
Hocking Athens Perry Community Action is currently scheduling appointments for the COLUMBIA GAS Fuel Fund and Crisis Fund programs. This assistance is reserved for Columbia Gas account holders “only” and is separate from the Emergency HEAP program. Clients that have been assisted with Emergency HEAP already this heating season and who also hold an account with Columbia Gas may be eligible. This assistance is made available by Columbia Gas and eligibility largely depends on income. Please call the respective office for details.
To qualify for either program you must be income eligible and a current Columbia Gas account holder. Applicants must present verification of the most recent three months gross income for all household members, Social Security cards for all household members, and proof of citizenship for the primary applicant such as a birth certificate or voter’s registration card, as well as copies of their utility bill. It is critical that applicants bring with them to their appointment their most recent copy of their Columbia Gas bill.
Appointments must be made for this program as well as the HEAP and PIPP programs. Limited walk-in appointments will be available. If you have any questions, please contact the designated county office. If you desire to schedule an appointment, please call 1.866.487.1362.
